"On Thursday May 22nd, Team 2 of the KaosPilots Norway will gather at 3 hot spots in Hanoi, Vietnam. We will hand out dust masks with “I love fresh air” written on them in Vietnamese. We will also give the people an opportunity to contribute to a picture of people gathered around the same issue at the same time by blowing bubbles in the air. The simple act of each person blowing bubbles symbolizes the person taking a stand and contributing with something from them self; their breath."

Opening night for the "I Have a Dream" exhibition

I have a dream…
- Visualizing children’s dreams, in hope for a world with equity for all.
”I have a dream” is an art exhibition project visualizing children’s dreams. More than 400 children in the age of 10-15 years from all over the world will participate, extending from countries like South Africa, Palestine and Vietnam.
The children will take part in a dream workshop, hosted in their own village or city. Here they are encouraged to visualize their personal dream for the future trough the expression of drawing, painting or writing.

Moulin Rouge party

We ended May 17th with the Moulin Rouge party fixed partly by Harald and Daniele. 2 svimming pools, 800 sold tickets, 5 international DJ´s including three of us, Daniele, Harald and me. Goodtimes.

May 17th continued..

Lunch at a rooftop restaurant. Salmon, hotdogs and icecream, and more champagne. And some games for us kids.

The real day! 17th of May celebration!

Because the Norwegian Embassy decided to celebrate 17th of May 2 days in advance we had our own celebration on the real day! We started out in a park next to the Hoan Kiem Lake in the center of Hanoi. Champagne, the Norwegian flag in a treetop, singing and ofcourse a parade trough the streets!

Hipp Hipp Hurra!!

At May 15th we were invited to a celebration at the Sheraton Hotel by the Norwegian embassy. Diplomats from all the countries represented in Hanoi were also present. Norwegian food, champagne and some small talk.

Maren now in Norway

Maren went back to Norway a couple of days ago. She will keep up the blogging in Norway from the homebase of Outpost, I will keep you updated from Hanoi some more weeks.
